Photo Gallery | PHOTOS: Mary Chapin Carpenter and Marc Cohn perform to full house Friday

The Center for the Arts presented an evening with Mary Chapin Carpenter and Marc Cohn Friday night at the Veterans Memorial Auditorium in Grass Valley.

The two Grammy winning singer songwriters performed together, singing their own hits and each other's hits.  They also shared some personal experiences with the audience, as well performing favorite tunes from other artists, including Frank Sinatra.

The full packed auditorium were excited to be hearing such rich vocal talent, and were not shy to sing along during some of the songs.

Mary Chapin Carpenter is an American folk and country singer, songwriter and musician. Over the course of a 12-album recording career, she has won five Grammy Awards, sold over 13 million records and recently was inducted into the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame.
