World Famous Clydesdales to Perform at Wild West Stampede Rodeo

“And now, ladies and gentlemen…boys & girls…here they come…the famous, world-renowned Budweiser Clydesdales!!” exclaims the rodeo announcer, and racing through the entry gate into the arena come the majestic team of eight matched Clydesdales, every motion in sync, manes waving, and harnesses gleaming.

Safe Cycling Classes Offered

The Placer County Transportation Planning Agency and City of Roseville are offering one-hour, free Smart Cycling Clinics to get residents motivated and ready for a safe season of bicycling.  This is a great opportunity to learn about the benefits of cycling, necessary cycling accessories, safe and effective techniques, route planning and the region’s “May is Bike Month” program.   

Bicycles are not needed at these trainings. Participants should bring their own lunch/dinner, drinks and deserts will be provided.   We look forward to your participation. All sessions are taught by trained instructors certified by the League of American Bicyclists.

The sport of team roping has a penchant for pairs. Two horses-two riders-two saddles-two ropes.

So what better way to gain an edge on the competition than to have two teammates born just seconds apart?

At least that’s what fraternal twins Taylor and Fallyn Foster are hoping.

After competing with separate partners all through middle school, the sisters, who are freshmen at Nevada Union High, decided to pair up for the first time entering their first season of competing in the District 3 California High School Rodeo Association,
