United Auburn Indian Community Joins the CA Nations Indian Gaming Association

United Auburn Indian Community Joins the CA Nations Indian Gaming Association

The California Nations Indian Gaming Association (CNIGA) announced today that the United Auburn Indian Community (UAIC) has joined the association. The UAIC application was approved by a unanimous vote of the CNIGA Board of Directors at the association’s annual meeting on December 12, 2013.

“We are thrilled to welcome the United Auburn Indian Community into the CNIGA family,” said Daniel J. Tucker, Chairman of CNIGA. “Having a forum for tribal leaders to discuss issues of importance is critical to the protection of tribal government gaming and tribal sovereign rights.”

"This year is going to be a significant year in the legislature for Native Americans in California,” said UAIC Chairman Gene Whitehouse. “Joining CNIGA will allow the United Auburn Indian Community to be a part of a unified voice with other gaming tribes in 2014.”

Sheri Del Torchio Joins Community 1st Bank as Assistant Vice President/Credit Analyst

Community 1st Bank announced today that Sheri Del Torchio has been named Assistant Vice President, Credit Analyst. She has 12 years of experience in multiple roles in banking within the Sacramento region. Del Torchio comes to Community 1st Bank after working the past three years with Umpqua Bank in Roseville as an Assistant Relationship Manager for the real estate owned (REO) department. Community 1st Bank has branches in downtown Auburn at 649 Lincoln Way, and in Roseville at 2250 Douglas Boulevard.

As a credit analyst at Community 1st Bank, Del Torchio will be responsible for gathering and analyzing credit information on current and potential borrowers; determine the advisability of granting credit, and assist loan officers in writing loan requests.
