Placer Theatre Ballet unveils new production Coppelia, for spring 2010

Placer Theatre Ballet unveils their version of a classical ballet, Coppelia, on April 30 and May 1 at Placer High School. Shea Wing, Placer Theatre Ballet board president will direct as artistic director for Coppelia.

“Ballet’s light-hearted, romantic comedy…A story of mistaken identity and a beautiful mechanical doll, Coppélia leaves young and old alike bemused by the antics of two confused sweethearts, Swanhilda and Franz.”

Dancers from across the region include representatives from: Roseville, Rocklin, Lincoln, Auburn, Loomis, Antelope, Folsom, Grass Valley and Colfax.
