RRUFF Dog Park - Special Needs Area Completed

Breaking News!  Construction has been completed at  RRUFF Dog Park, Rocklin located inside Johnson-Springview Park, 5480 5th St.  The Special Needs Area is now 100% finished and ready to open.  The first  non-profit group to use the site is the Guide Dogs for the Blind Puppy Raiser Program.  Training classes begin April 6. Paws Up For Vets will begin their puppy raiser classes for  service dogs for our disabled Veterans in May.  Local rescue groups and other service dog training and therapy dog training groups are also being encouraged to use this wonderful site for their training and adoption days.

The RRUFF Dog Park, Rocklin has been open since December 2011. The Special Needs Area project was funded by generous donations from Johnson Ranch Pet Rehabilitation Center, Lesley & Steve Koonce,  MJB Homes, the City of Rocklin and RRUFF.  In 2013  RRUFF fund raising efforts raised over $20,000 to help fund this unique site.

RRUFF has succeeded in making their vision to "be recognized as a progressive and innovative off-leash dog park" come true.

The next time you are in Rocklin, visit the RRUFF Dog Park with your pet and see what makes this park so different and special than all the other dog parks you have ever visited!   For more information go to  www.rruffdogpark.org
